416 SNACK BAR
︎︎︎2011

Founders and friends, Dave Stewart and Adrian Ravinsky first met in 1999 working side-by-side at many of the Toronto’s most notorious establishments. A couple of years before opening their first establishment, Adrian started a food blog called 416 Snack Bar, dedicated to exploring the city's wide range of under-the-radar culinary offerings–which developed a bit of a following. Finally, in January of 2011, they put a pile of tip money together and opened the brick and mortar version of 416 on a shoestring. In Spain they call this type of food tapas, but here they call them snacks.

416 Snack Bar is an ode to Toronto's historical melting-pot of unique cultural communities. It's a fresh take on traditional gourmet dining that the city has been in need of for some time. Part cocktails, part snacks, all delicious. The menu is an ever-changing selection of finger-foods and gourmet snacks that reflect the abundance of different flavours and culinary styles found throughout the city.
